Blake Ellender Lively, born on August 25, 1987, in Los Angeles, California, is a renowned American actress and entrepreneur. As the daughter of actor Ernie Lively and talent scout Elaine Lively, Blake was introduced to the entertainment industry early on. She made her professional debut at the age of 10 in the film Sandman (1998), directed by her father. However, it was her role as Bridget Vreeland in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) that marked her breakthrough, leading to widespread recognition.
Blake’s portrayal of Serena van der Woodsen in the popular television series Gossip Girl (2007–2012) solidified her status as a household name. Beyond acting, she has ventured into business, founding the beverage companies Betty Buzz and Betty Booze, as well as the hair care line Blake Brown. Despite her success, Blake maintains a grounded perspective, often attributing her achievements to her family’s support and her Southern upbringing. She once humorously remarked on her passion for food, stating that it was the “No.1 love of my life.”
